No, we moved to Oklahoma in '91. The house we were thrilled to sell for $210,000 in 1991 is now listed for $1.5 million, so I guess we pulled up stakes a bit early!
We were there during the Loma Prieta earthquake that caused a lot of fires in the Berkley Hills above Stanford (along with a lot of other damage.) Miss the weather and proximity to the ocean. And, we go back to visit my sis-in-law who lives in Daly City (south of San Francisco) every few years. We were out there in Aug '23.
