I need to print an invoice as a pdf file. I have a template with the company name, address,telephone number etc. All these items and several others are preprinted in this template. The template is a very common VFP report In different textboxes data from a table are obtained, such as client name, address,invoice number,date, item code, quantity, unit price and extended price plus other boxes for invoice subtotal, taxes and totals. Using a report listener I generate a pdf file, but only the preprinted items are shown in the pdf and none of the data from the textboxes appear.
Could any of you please furnish me with a simple example on how to generate a pdf file as described, using data extracted from a table?
