Hey Woody - nice to hear from you. I can surely relate to your job hours. I leave every morning at 6:40am - commute mostly by trains @ nearly 4.5 Hrs round trip - and arrive back to my place in the evenings at 7:05pm (or 19:05). So, yeah - nearly a 12.5 Hr day. Not much time left for me personally during the week. Although - on the upside - since 3/4 of my time is on the Long Island Railroad - I can actually work on my personal 3D CG projects on the train, or even do e-mails.
Anyway - best of luck to you on your current job situation. Regards, Kurt -----Original Message----- In the meantime I checked the 60-age mark, managed to survive 5 years as a freelancer (after the breakdown of the ProLib companies in 2009), and 2 years ago I changed back into employment. They offered me some obscene amount of money to get me onboard to manage and enhance their inhouse software. Finally I couldn't resist, even after sleeping over that decision for three nights.. Thus now I find myself in a 9 to 18 job, with driving 86km each morning and evening (which means starting at 7:30 and returning at 19:30), but I'm very happy with my salary (and 30 days of payed vacations :) ) It could be worse than that .... _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/80838f1ca795b14ea1af48659f35166f1905d...@drexch02.corp.globetax.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
