I had a completely dead Chromebook. Googling dead Chromebooks I came across a fix. Hold down the refresh button(4th button from the left on the top) and then press the power button. This does a hard reset of the computer without deleting any files. I think I glitched the computer by plugging in a camera into the USB port.
