Tried it for myself, but could never get the money together to buy products to sale so put it on the back burner.
A buddy of mine makes really great knives. His people were leaving him in a bind, so I created a site at http://www.tccutlery.com using ebays pro stores company. It works pretty good, but now I need to deal with the issue of him getting paid again which leads me back to paypal. If I can pin him down and get him to give me the rest of the info on how he makes the knives and what he uses and get some of the letters of referral that he has from people like pierce brosnan 007, then I think he may see some business. And he's agreed to pay me 15 %, so I would love to see him sell about 300 knives a month at 200 each <grin> Virgil Bierschwale http://www.tccutlery.com http://www.bierschwalesolutions.com -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Pete Theisen Sent: Sunday, November 19, 2006 7:42 AM To: ProFox Email List Subject: Re: [NF] Paypal and development services On Thursday 16 November 2006 20:39, Virgil Bierschwale wrote: > I’m trying to set things up where I can offer software support and > development (there’s still a lot of 2.6 stuff out there) via the internet. > > Since I do not have a big enough business to set myself up with a > credit card, I’m experimenting with pay pal Hi Virgil! Deja vu all over again, weren't you doing that a while ago? I have paypal on my charity site, but so far, only I have donated anything. Seems like it works. http://www.sun-health.org/ Expect to get a lot of phishing attacks asking for your password, or other information. PayPal does real surveys as well so you have to pay attention. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
