I got some apps running locally, but don't recall if I got networking.
If you recall from the DOS days, finding and configuring the right
drivers for the NIC (in this case, the simulated NIC the VM is
presenting) and getting the TCP/IP stack and NetBIOS-over-ICP and
NetBeui, *shudder*, can be a bit of work.
