Syncback is the software I have used for years and is ultra reliable with added cloud backup now in the latest version. Defiitely recommended and simple to use with "intelligent mirroring" as a feature for increased speed.
The freeware version may even do all you want. http://tinyurl.com/z4nvbx6 Dave -----Original Message----- From: ProFox [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John Weller Sent: 17 April 2016 20:25 To: [email protected] Subject: [NF] Backup Software I am trying to install some backup software for a friend. The app I have used in the past is SyncToy which is very good at mirroring folders to a backup location however for some reason it won't install on his machine. It demands Net Framework version 2.61 (I think) but his PC has Net Framework version 4. I've heard that SyncToy can be a bit temperamental :-) My question is - can anyone recommend something as easy to use as SyncToy for someone who is a novice? I've looked at EaseUS ToDo but that stores the backup files as compressed files rather than in their native format like SyncToy.
