Mike,

We switched to use http://www.chilkatsoft.com/
Still working out some of the issues with recent changes to both the control
and many service providers. 
If you are only sending a couple to a dozen emails at any given time, you
shouldn't have a problem.
If you have something in your software to allow the customer to blast out a
few hundred emails, slow things down. This control works faster and has
asynchronous methods. I use the asynchronous bits to keep the UI from going
to a non-responsive state when possible. 
The online documentation even has FoxPro sample code.
