I recall problems on W95/98, but not in XP or W7. Isn't this more likely an OS issue then? At my old job we used to run VFP program to that kept our immediate online storage of .WAV files from phone calls, and had to maintain free space at 30GB (on a 2TB drive) free. Worked just fine, the server was W2003 and ran OK on the server or from an XP/W7 workstation.
