CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 Month Contract to Hire
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- 5+ years of Applications Development experience
- Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
- 5+ years of Object Oriented Analysis & Design
- 5+ years development experience in: Power builder GUI
- 3+ Sybase database development
- 2+ Visual fox pro experience
- Unix experience and be able to write shell scripts or debug them
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of
technical and non-technical staff.
- Strong investigation and evaluation skills especially in a production
environment
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Trading / portfolio management applications
- 3-4 years in a financial industry support experience is preferred.
(Brokerage/banking is preferable)
- 2+ Java, XML
