Wow - now THAT is some exciting news. It's too bad that all these Hackers and Scammers don't put their Skills to doing GOOD things instead of Bad! Which reminds me...
A good number of years ago - I had met this kid on the web - maybe in a chat room or something. Then I had been chatting w/him via ICQ. He was then telling me about the trouble he was getting into at school (he was like 17 & in high school at the time) - and getting thrown out for a little while (I forget the proper term for that) - since he hacked the Admin server - and was actually going in and changing grades. Just to show me his Mad Skills - while connected via ICQ - he opened up my CD Rom drive on my PC. Which Shocked me! And, it was funny. I told him - why don't you use those skills to do Good things instead of Evil. Seems he took my advice. Since, several years later - I happened to be on ICQ again - and he told me he now works in a University Lab doing programming of SW for analysis or simulation of some kind of Bio-Medical research! I wish more of the Hackers would do such things! -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Stephen Russell Sent: Tuesday, November 10, 2015 9:35 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [NF] Linux Ransomware now out http://betanews.com/2015/11/09/linux-users-targeted-by-new-linux-encoder-1-encryption-ransomware/ -- Stephen Russell Sr. Analyst Ring Container Technology Oakland TN 901.246-0159 cell --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/80838f1ca795b14ea1af48659f35166f259...@drexch02.corp.globetax.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
