The times have really changed. A short time ago this service wasn't a
viable option. I'm currently half way through migrating West-Wind Web
Connection shopping cart client from http://Hosting.com over to
https://www.vultr.com/. He's currently paying over $300/mo and hoping
to drop that to about $40/mo.
Vultr does a lot of Linux hosting, but they have Windows hosting as
well. Lots of locations in the USA and around the world. Their support
isn't as good as DigitalOcean.com but DO doesn't offer Windows Server
hosting. (Yet.)
CPU Count: 2
Memory: 2048MB
Storage: 45GB SSD
Bandwidth: 3000GB
Cost: $40/mo (Sale on now for $32/mo)
They have servers up to 24CPU, 35G RAM for $528/month.
You can spin up a server within 2 minutes, and remote access the server
through their web based console. Has nifty usage graphs per server too.
