YMMV but I have had a Lumia Icon since I updated from my HTC 8x, best phone I have ever had hands down. I do like Windows phone 8.1 but can't get the previews of Windows 10 on either phone so I can't comment there.
When I become upgrade eligible soon I going to upgrade to: (I have no idea). Being as there are no compelling Windows phones on the market, I may find myself going in another direction as the events of the last few days do not give me warm fuzzies about Microsoft/Lumia/WhateverTheyCallThemThisWeek phones. Since neither IOS or Andriod excite me, I'll probably just stick with the Icon for a while longer until it all shakes out....
