Well, what languages would I use, with a low learning curve? Ones I had used before. I have worked on projects with new databases, languages and interface libraries. It's a LOT more work to learn new tools, and exponentially more as the number of new items increases. If you've used WebConnect before, that is a great way to put VFP on the web. If you've been dying to try out Thierry's FoxinCloud, here's a good chance. Me? Data in MariaDB or Postgres. On Linux. Web server Apache or nginx. Server side language PHP or Ruby. Client side: HTML5, CSS3, javaScript. Likely Twitter Bootstrap for simple responsive layout, and jQuery for fancy widgets as needed. But that's just me. Kevin recommends Xojo, agreed. Ed and Paul will likely recommend Python. Just don't listen to the DotNet guys, okay? :) _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/cacw6n4uhrxmj5bh85-pipszgsmczclkdnwes+ypqa-hw+h7...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
