I would be more tempted to put a motion detection hose pipe in. That would
train the bugger.
Btw im not anti cats, just I prefer to attract birds.

I am having a serious problem with a neighbour's cat(s) using a particular
part of my front garden as it's toilet.  So far as I know there are laws
which apply to dogs (fouling/nuisance laws) which do not apply to cats.  My
neighbour is of the opinion that nothing can be done about it because cats
cannot be trained in the way that dogs can (or should be).
