This is also something I have done - simply drop tables in the DE - then drag and drop items on Form to quickly create the layout - the delete the Table form the DE. I have heard there are some problems and limitations to using the DE - and some issues I have run into - so that's why I then remove the Tables from the DE after initially putting fields & Grids on the Form.
