I just purchased a USB easycap. Not arrived yet but it says audio/video and it has SVHS in as well as what I assume is composite. It does not say what windows os though, will have to wait, but it was cheap. I paid £3.38 including post. It is coming from China so I assume it can be delivered anywhere. Al

On a desktop PC you'd be adding a video capture card with HDMI and/or S Video inputs. On a laptop you are looking at a USB connected adapter with those connections.
