As I do more and more of this I realize that there are a lot of PHP / MySQL gigs out there, but I don't know anybody on the inside and no matter how many applications I submit, I can't buy an interview for reasons that Norm Matloff can best explain at http://normsaysno.wordpress.com/
So I decided to put it out here. I would like to find somebody, or a group of somebody's that could provide me with at least 20 hrs per week worth of work on a steady basis using php/mysql, or what have you at a reduced rate of $40 per hr (willing to work 40 hrs and negotiate rate as well). As an example of my work, and it is a little more difficult than just doing php/mysql alone, I would like to invite you to look at the reporting system I am developing within the WordPress framework. http://keepamericaatwork.com/?page_id=53 You can now click on the occ_code column links, or the links in the visa quantity column (don't click on anything larger than a hundred records or so as I still have to put the paging portion in after I finish what I'm currently doing) The plans are to give the viewer the ability to drill down in various "Group By" categories such as city, state, employer, dates, etc. Hopefully they are willing to consider remote work, but I'm even willing to come in at a junior level in San Antonio, or maybe even austin if it is a full time gig to develop my skills further.
