But what about mobile? Today he's working at a coffeeshop, tomorrow at the X-wifes, the next at his new girlfriends, the day after at the Intensive Care Unit. This, uh, might have happened to a friend of mine. Yeah. Mobile is up and coming and people are accessing their work from home, while commuting, on the road, etc. via VPNs and remote control software. They could be running IPv6 and routing through a 3rd-party v6-to-v4 bridge. They might even be onion-routing their access, if they have security concerns. Unless you are dealing with an in-house situation where you have very restricted access, you may find yourself banning valid users and having customer support issues. -- Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/cacw6n4v4y0neawuyec+_bgkpb_d0gptigbp8gci4qzk7k2n...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
