(This is not just contrarianism. These rules are made allegedly to make the OS safer. Problem is, malware authors are very good at following any rules the OS manufacturer can come up with--and still hosing your computer. That makes such rules useless. In fact, worse than useless, since they waste development time for no discernible benefit.)
