HD video is a real hog; a dozen streams are going to put a lot of stress on networks, switches and controllers. If there's a bottleneck, like all of the streams pouring through one network connection to the HDD controller, that's likely to be the holdup. Here's a handy calculator that might give you some ideas about the capacities you've got to be thinking about: http://www.stardot.com/bandwidth-and-storage-calculator -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CACW6n4u5kaqBR400N1WoGD4aq1b6Ur=ejmrehtptjeqahzm...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
