Good news. Possibly if I could see the full code I could figure out what's
going on--though I'm guessing that code inside an external .vcx can't see
what's happening in workspace controlled by the executable without some
befiddling to make it happen.

I solved the issue of running a form from a VCX that is not compiled as
part of the EXE. I created a method in the form that launches the VCX to
run the form I need..
If I launch the second form from the VCX I get an error that the form does
not exist.
I don't really understand why this is true but all appears to be working
fine and I don't need to duplicate the code in the VCX that already
appears in the second form.
