The archive search uses the MySQL full-text index, which indexes words 4 
characters or longer. This results in a very fast search. What you're 
suggesting could be accomplished with the "Search post for this specific 
phrase" field, which does a basic wild-card search, which can be v-e-r-y 
s-l-o-w, especially with wide date ranges.
