It's not being emailed. It's happening both on my machine and on theirs,
where I have the application installed.

After doing some digging, it looks like it's something within the Excel
settings and not the file itself. Excel opens Excel 2, 3 and 4 workbooks in
Protected View. I can have them change those settings, or I can export the
file into another version of Excel.  Using XL5 instead of XLS works just
fine.

attachment.  If the file is available on a server see if the user can open
