Not only the command line for .NET classes but also the Windows GUI classes
in .NET are available for building forms. Sapien has a GUI designer and an
EXE compiler now. It's still just evolving but shows promise. Too bad they
couldn't get Calvin on their team :-)

Powershell puts .NET assemblies to a command line consumption. Generating
collections of files in a folder or subset is just one of thousands of
things you can do easily. I manage a lot of temp files that get consumed in
our erp with a PS script. I check the date and delete if earlier then or
job time which is pulled from SQL Server data. So I get both data as well
as IO libraries.
