I volunteer to help users at the local Retirement Home's computer lab.
Last week a resident brought in a Gateway 27" All-in-One, with Windows 8
and a touch screen, and donated it to the lab. He found the touch
screen much too awkward to use on the large vertical monitor, and turned
it off.
Apple doesn't offer touch on the iMac screens, instead they offer a
touch pad, with full 2,3,4-finger gestures, that sits beside the
keyboard. You don't have to reach, and the screen doesn't get
fingerprints all over it. I think that's the way to go.
