I don't know what rawprint.vcx does in detail, so it's hard to guess what's
going on. I don't know how it accesses the printer and whether the Windows
Spooler is involved or if rawprint is spooling internally.

You tell me that this machine has been working fine running this program
for a while.

And that it doesn't get updates, nor is it connected to the internet.

So, it's a local hardware or software problem. What changed? I'd look for
disk problems, disk full, temp drives full, etc. System logs might give
some clues.
