It's hard to do it from here, but the things after the vjb are what I think
are wrong (at least the first two)
<input type=
"text"
id="suche_kw"
name="kw"
value="Aesculap Number/Keyword"
onclick=
"if(this.value=='Aesculap Number/Keyword') { this.value='';} && vjb quote
needs to be out of }
Else
{ this.select(); }"
onblur=
"if(this.value=='') && vjb quote needs to be out of )
{ this.value='Aesculap Number/Keyword';}
"> && vjb needs to be /> ???

Works fine here too. Hook up a working laptop that works when offsite to
the network and see if it works, if it doesn't than there is some filtering
on the router or some other device.

Subject: [NF] problem w/ website functioning, possible IE or network config
issue
We're having an odd problem trying to use the Search feature on a website.
It seems to work fine from offsite just fine (even works well from my
Android phone) so since it is happening across the board on multiple
machines, I think it is something with our network configuration.
When we go to this site:
http://www.surgical-instruments-usa.info
And search for something, for example:
bh105r (it doesn't matter)
It just sits there and spins with "Loading - searching for items"
being displayed.
I couldn't tell if the search routine was using Adobe Flash or Java but I
upgraded to a pretty recent version. Not necessarily the latest-greatest,
but close to that. That didn't help... cleaned browser cache etc etc....
like I said this is happening to everyone regardless of machine.
Can anyone tell from the page source when it is about the way this thing
works to give me some clue as to why one of our IE or network settings might
be blocking or otherwise bottlenecking this thing?
