LOCATION: This position is based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA located near the L.A.X. Airport and will require reporting in to this location on a daily basis.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Merle Norman Cosmetics, a major cosmetics manufacturer seeks a Programmer to assist our I.T. Department Responsibilities include: *Analyze application of current systems and procedures. *Design, develop, document, and test new and legacy systems based on business goals, working with other departments and colleagues to gather requirements. *Troubleshoot and trace software related issues reported by users. *Produce reports on a routine and ad hoc basis *Perform month-end and year-end processing which includes modifying and executing SQL procedures and FoxPro programs. Must Have Requirements: Object Oriented Programming using Visual FoxPro 6.0 or better SQL Server 2000 DTS and Stored Proceedure programming .NET 3.5 using C# or Visual Basic.NET Team Player Strong Communication Skills Nice to have: Refactoring SQL Server database design Some ASP.NET experience using C# or Visual Basic.NET WCF Web Services REQUIRED: Applicants MUST reside in the local Southern California area (no relocation assistance provided, no out of state applicants will be considered) and be available to interview immediately.
