One problem that I have noted from time to time is that the bodies of some messages come crunched together with text from different messages on the same line. I have seen some today. For example, one message body from Tracy Pearson today was:

I see that rather often, but not only on Ed's lists. I also see it on the Python Tutor list.

I had thought it might be the age of my email client (Eudora 5.x, which is about 11 years old). I often fail to keep up with the Joneses.

But it tends to come from the same senders most of the time. And since you see it too, then I'm guessing it has something to do with the email encoding of the sender, either the encoding itself or the "Content-Type" designation that gets passed along with it.
