A couple years ago - I read this book that was suggested by this Shrink woman I know - she raved about the book - how wonderful it was. It was quite eye opening. It was written by this woman - and growing up for the most part homeless - and that's the way her parents liked it. In the end - even though she ended up making it - and having an appt. & paying job - and she invited her parents to live with her - she was in NYC by then - the parents pretty much refused!
