I have some very large .prg files myself. One is nearly 1/4 MB. I have never seen that error.

Take a look at the on-line help for that error message. According to it, "In versions prior to Visual FoxPro 9.0, the size of a program or single procedure that Visual FoxPro can load is limited to 65,000 bytes." For 9, it says that you can adjust the PROGCACHE setting.

You might have to remodularise some methods/procedures. How long are they?
