I've had this a couple of times with forms when they went corrupt (still
mostly using VFP7). Always had to go back to a previous version and
that fixed it. You're only as good as your last backup :-)
Might be worth going through the project and opening everything one by
one to see if you get an error, or if there is too much, write a program
to do it.
