Its a full com dll and has email message and smtp controls. It wont do the
work as it will need to know when to send but it does the rest. It is a bit
old but still works fine. And for the money does pop3, imap and smtp all in
one. I use it with a timer to import emails. And send reports and stuff when
the user requires it.

I meant behind the scenes like... not a mass mailing but... a user adds
information to a particular table. In the background, I would like to
send an email to other coordinators if he is one for example. (No more
than 10.)
My test machines at present are Win 7 & 8, so I will find out about that
personally. (Will report back with my results.)
I will download the 30 day trial and decide if I want it then.
