I understand the empathy people around the world wanting to help but something bothers me. The people of Newtown are rather well-off and did not suffer any financial loss. They may need expensive counseling at some point that is true but 20,000 teddy bears for 26 families? Where is the concern for thousands of families in New Jersey and New York that lost their entire wealth such as homes, clothing, furniture and had to go live in shelters and hotels or with friends and relatives?

If they lost their homes, clothing and have no food then 20,000 teddy bears won't do it.
They should send them 500,000 teddy bears, or even some more.
