Everything should be paid for locally and managed locally so they are 
accountable to local taxpayers.   Big Federal Government projects are big money 
wasters.

I thought that all of those were "local" and not Federal.  Back in
2008 the USA gave to the local project planners a butt load of $$$ to
accomplish whatever they wanted.

Do you remember that?

Should they now override the poor decisions that our local
representatives made?

Or are you looking at BIG projects that encompass dams or are a revamp
to the interstates?
