Yes - the Readwrite is avail in VFP7. I hadn't thought about that - as
the reason the Alter wouldn't work. Oh well...

Actually - I was just trying a different method - to simply ADD the
field to the Cursor after the Cursor is generated. I was attempting to
then run an Alter Table command - but, alas - it doesn't work on
Cursors. So - was just now trying to change the code to use a Temp
Table. But - I think I will switch to this option that you and Frank
mentioned - since it seems much simpler and more elegant!
