OK, this was another weird problem with no error messages.   It was choking on 
a user defined function that was compiled in FPW and didn't make it, for some 
reason, into the project and didn't get compiled into the executable.  I guess 
running it from the IDE compiled it on the fly, but the compiled VFP program 
choked.    

This is why I hate changing versions.

This doesn't make any sense.


1.  I try to run VFP 9.0 program and all i get is a blank screen with no 
error message.  clicking the screen terminates it.

2.  I run the same .EXE file in the IDE and it works fine.

3.  I close the IDE and run the compiled version again and this time it 
works fine.


It's almost like running the IDE fixes something, but what?
