OK, this was another weird problem with no error messages. It was choking on a user defined function that was compiled in FPW and didn't make it, for some reason, into the project and didn't get compiled into the executable. I guess running it from the IDE compiled it on the fly, but the compiled VFP program choked.
This is why I hate changing versions. ----- Original Message ----- From: Allen <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Cc: Sent: Friday, March 16, 2012 6:35 AM Subject: Re: Doesn't work in compiled version, runs in IDE, then runs in compiled version read events ??? I try to run VFP 9.0 program and all i get is a blank screen with no error message. clicking the screen terminates it. 2. I run the same .EXE file in the IDE and it works fine. 3. I close the IDE and run the compiled version again and this time it works fine. It's almost like running the IDE fixes something, but what? _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/A6CB413FB8324C0492AAFD977C7FB4FD@gslredacer ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
