FYI - for that EDI Data storage - that anywhere from like 20 lines (each
20 to 100 chars's) to 100 lines or MORE!

And - as another update. My buddy told me the client had a server Crash.
{NOT very shocking when he told me their server has 3GB of RAM - while
the system the other day reported usage of 7GB of RAM - i.e. Virtual
RAM.} Seems the client is being TOO CHEAP - since they are our Biggest
client - and they ARE a BIG Co. - and they should have a Hefty Server
w/16GB or RAM!

A Server for running a BIG business should NOT be the place to cut
Pennies...

Well, that's IMHO and YMMV.

In my opinion, if a field has to capture data from 2 to 150 chars, I
would use a text field
Then I would consider a memo field
