For Rick Sanctimonium to win in Minnesota shows just how broken the
caucus system is. 1% or less of the eligible voters showed up, and the
ones that did are the wrong ones: Fanatical Fundamentalists from Hell.

Are primaries better? More people participate, but they emulate the
general elections with most of the voters influenced by TV ads. So far
they have produced a leading candidate who, while more moderate, is a
cultist whose "religion" makes fundamentalist Christians look
rational. No small feat.

Unbelievable.
