I have the code to the old app and can make changes.

I have put code in to close and reopen the table just prior to loading the
record in the old app, but that does not get the new data.

Well, the old app code can't be changed at this point, so moving
forward--how long until you can dump this old app and not worry about it's
problems (seeing how the NEW app works as it should)?
