Hi Michael,

Repeat after me: "Cross Platform good, Microsoft bad". That is all you 
need to know.

Silverlight is a tool of the devil. Very seldom runs on Linux and stops 
when it does. Even worse than Flash in that regard.

All too often it is being used where cross platform capability is 
essential, such as on a public web server. Granicus comes to mind - 
those are government documents that are *supposed* to be universally 
accessible, not just to winders users.
