rofl! It's hot button of mine. Several large applications that depended on Office Automation went ka-blouie on version upgrades or even service packs. It was one of my more painful experiences with Microsoft, and one that convinced me that MSFT wasn't serious about allowing their customer-developers to ship reliable and compatible enterprise-grade software. > They will definitely need to have the 32 bit versions of Office installed. And you need to test your app in each version of software you expect you'll have to "support," Jeff. This is a good use of throw-away VMs, where you can install and configure various Offices and confirm your app runs okay. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CACW6n4tjbWm+gVQBVpYZsq5-ax4-tGweJEd9iCRzy=rhtbx...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
