Thank you Ted Roche! Today I found I needed to update 140+ programs to change the consistency of a common message. I have dreaded doing this for 4 years and have deferred the problem in the past. Today, equipped with the book from my bosses office, Essential SourceSafe, I was able to check out the files through the automation noted in the 12 pages at the end of the book. Automating _VFP.ActiveProject still required input for each checkout comment.
Code References found all the parts. Exported the results wrote the code and checked out Replaced with Code References Updated the code and checked everything back in 15 minutes.
