Hi All, Just heard this sad news.
Dennis Ritchie, inventor of the C programming language and Unix co-creator passed away on the 8th of October. C had a huge influence in program language design and is still widely used today. Unix of course is also very influential in OS design, spawning many clones such as Linux, BSD, etc. >From a personal level, C had a big influence on the way I program today.
