User is getting this error: "OLE error code 0x80030003: Unknown COM status code."
Happens for just one user's computer, not others, on the COPY TO command in code. All users are XP Pro with Office 2010. User did say that he's getting odd messages from Windows since they changed something on their server. (Perhaps a new server? Can't recall.) From that user: [Never really noticed before now, as I do not use them often, but it seems as though all my Microsoft programs; Access, Excel, Word, Power Point are all missing shortcuts. When I try to open any of them I get a message saying "problem with shortcut, this shortcut has been changed or removed", or something to that effect. Bill, I did notice a change in the appearance of the icons when we switched over recently, but had not attempted to run any of these programs.] I speculated that his file associations are perhaps screwed up. If I were their tech (and I'm not), I'd probably uninstall/reinstall or repair the Office 2010 installation, making sure that there were no other versions of Office on his pc. Ideas beyond that? tia. -- Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/4e8a1900.6070...@mbsoftwaresolutions.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
