Normally I can barely stomach Krugman's comments in the New York Times and in 
fact usually get so furious that I cannot finish his articles. But this one I 
agree with 100%

Two front runners, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney, in the Republican party are 
turning against science and intellectual thinking. They are claiming evolution 
is only a theory and other highly intelligent people doubt it. Also they claim 
there is no global warming. Krugman claims that only 35% of Iowans believe 
evolution and 21% in global warming. So these weak-needed Republicans are 
agreeing with them.
