Please don't take offense. It's lies, damned lies and statistics at work. IE9 is better than most previous versions of IE. FireFox is off the mark at the moment I think. Google's Chrome/Chromium is rocking. Opera always has. "Better" is a relative, depending on what you're using it for. A Ferrari isn't better than a Ford F150 if you're hauling a pallet of bricks. FireFox is better for what I'm doing, web development, because the FireBug tool is more advanced than the equivalent tools on the other browsers. Google's V8 Javascript engine is better for the js-intensive pages (like Google's) that I run. And IE9 is better for me to check what my clients are going to see. They're certainly not less intelligent - they hired me, after all :) There's an interesting site, html5test.com, where you can test if your browser is better -- at scoring on their test. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CACW6n4spbhMPtnyHY2gqby+Wt=qrurlvjorrat+h0p342eo...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
