Graham, It worked for me. Sony VAIO VPCEC, Windows 7 Home Premium, VFP 9 SP 2 (no hotfixes) When you see the "connected 640x480" caption, and you click Preview, with this window still open, if you can connect to the camera with other software, you are apparently connected to some other device. This should error. I ran it once, but now it won't restart. I get a dialog asking which device to connect to. There's only one on the laptop. Then I get the "failed to connect" in the caption. I even restarted the VFP session. This is very similar to the code I've used in a production application.
