Yes, the NY Times quote in the July 25, 2011 "Human Events" magazine was a May 2007 Op-Ed by Frank Bowman about Alberto Gonzalez, who President Bush appointed to fill his Attorney General cabinet position. Alberto Gonzalez began employing Republican leaning attorneys with encouragement from Carl Rove and probably president Bush himself. This turned the Justice Department into an arm of the Bush Administration and Republicans, rather than an independent branch called for in the constitution to server all Americans impartial justice. This had nothing to do with the wild allegations appearing against Eric Holder in the July 25, 2011 "Human Events" magazine. Regards, LelandJ > What about this HE article, think it is a lie? > > http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=44913 This article seems to a Machiavellian tactic attempting to marginalize, or divert attention away from, the ultra-conservation News empire owned by Rupert Murdoch. Otherwise, there is no real substantive merit in the "Human Events" article.
